The competition will be conducted remotely using Strong Mind Software, with a side camera required to ensure a fair and transparent competition for everyone. Whether you are an experienced memory athlete or taking your first step into competitive memory, this is your opportunity to challenge yourself, compete internationally, and represent your country on the African stage. 🏅 What’s at Stake? Rules

📝 Participants must compete using a desktop computer or laptop only. Mobile phones, tablets, and other devices are not permitted for taking the tests.
📝 All participants must start each test at the same time, following the organizer’s instructions. Late participants will not be allowed to take the test.
📝 The times listed in the competition schedule are approximate. A test may start earlier or later than the scheduled time, so participants must be ready and follow the organizers’ instructions.**.
📝 The Words, Dates, Names, and Spoken Numbers disciplines will use the same content across all available languages. Only the languages listed on the website are available. If your preferred language is not available, please contact us before the competition.
📝 A side camera is mandatory throughout the competition. Your keyboard, screen, hands, and side view must remain clearly visible at all times.
📝 Participants must ensure that their camera provides a clear and unobstructed view of the required areas throughout each test.
📝 The name displayed on your Strong Mind account must include at least two names, and you must upload a clear personal profile picture before the competition.
📝 The competition will be hosted on Google Meet. The meeting link will be provided to participants before the event begins.
📝 Before starting any discipline, make sure that you have selected the correct competition: “African Memory Championship 2”.
📝 Once you start a discipline, you cannot leave or restart it. Please make sure that all settings are correct before starting the test.
📝 Participants are responsible for ensuring that their internet connection, computer, browser, camera, microphone, and other required equipment are working properly before the competition begins.
📝 Participants must remain visible through the required camera setup throughout the competition and must follow all instructions given by the organizers.
📝 Any attempt to use unauthorized assistance, external materials, communication, or another person during a test may result in immediate disqualification.
📝 Participants must not share, record, photograph, screenshot, or distribute any competition content, including memorization material, questions, or test screens.
📝 Participants must follow the organizers’ instructions and maintain fair-play standards throughout the competition. The organizers reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of the rules.
📝 The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates the competition rules or attempts to gain an unfair advantage.
📝 Headphones, earphones, and any other audio devices are not allowed during the competition.
📝 Participants must compete from a separate room. No other person is allowed to be present in the room during the competition.
📝 Participants are responsible for ensuring that their internet connection, computer, browser, camera, microphone, and all other required equipment are working properly before the competition begins. Technical problems on the participant’s side, including internet disconnection, computer failure, browser issues, or power outages, will not normally result in a retest or additional time.
📝 In exceptional cases, the organizers may review a technical issue and decide whether any action is appropriate. The organizers’ decision regarding technical issues and any possible retest will be final.
📝 By registering for the competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to all competition rules.
